| Just wondering if anyone out that has a navel piercing and how it affects riding. I was wanting to get it done but I was just slightly concerned about riding with it? Any input experiences good and bad would be greatly appraiated. |

Go mine back in 1996 and I actually forget most of the time I have one. Never had any issues with it. |

Location: Benton City, WA | I have had mine pierced since I was 16, and have never had any issues with it. The worst that has happened is if certain jeans rub it just right, I have lost my jewelry. No big deal its cheap anyway. |

| Thanks Ladies! I am 26 and just getting over a bad controlling absusive relationship. I really wanted to do something for myself I am so so much happier now and I really just want to reward myself in some way for how far I have come on my own :) |

Location: Fort Collins, CO | got mine done when i was 18. when it was healing i was careful about not rubbing my stomach on my saddle (it was a ring). i've had my belt buckle get stuck on it during a run and come out bleeding and let me tell you it HURTS like h-e-**!!! but i wear lower rise jeans now and haven't had any issues in a long time.
If you like to wear higher rises you're gonna be hurting i'd say!

Just make sure you keep it clean, mine got infected and nothing could touch it the pain was so bad. Mine is almost fully healed and I've had it 4 years.. Takes a long time, but I would do it again if I had to choose. |

Location: Missouri | Hoofs...it's a belly button ring. Mine doesn't bother me riding at all. Did take a long time to heal. Tip..wear a cami/tank top, tuck it into your jeans. That will keep it from being rubbed on. |

Location: Idahome | Got mine when I was 16 and never had any issues. Occassionaly, my belt buckle would rub against it, but never caused damage. If you are concerned do as another poster suggested and wear an undershirt tucked it or put a bandaid over the top when riding. |

i got mine when I was 16. I was just careful to wear low riding jeans and not to hit it on anything for a few weeks. I'm 21 now and half the time I forget about it. |
