| Which would you rather, a Frenchmans Guy grandson or a son of La Jollas Gold? And why.
Just curious.

Location: north dakota | It would all depend on the rest of the pedigree, confirmation and disposition. I have both of these. I have a La Jollas gold 2 year old out of a sun frost / FDD bred mare and I have A smooth guy out of my proven producing mare coming. If I had to pick one only one to keep it would be the A Smooth Guy which would be the grand get of FG. I also sold and grandson of FG since I liked the my la Jollas gold filly better. |

| Isn't La Jollas Gold only frozen semen at this point? If that is the case I'd go with FG just so I didn't have to deal with the frozen semen. lol |

Thankfully, one of them isn't gray.....because that would be your pick, frozen semen or not lol. |

That is a good point, I would pick the gray. As you can tell, I'm very scientific about this whole thing! |

Location: Gainesville, TX | Granted it would depend on the bottom side, but usually I'm going to want an own son or daughter of a well known sire rather than a grandson or granddaughter (unless that sire's direct offspring are mostly gone or not breeding). |

Location: Peg-Leg Julia Grimm | I love me some FG. But I agree the rest of the pedigree and the horses conformation would be the deciding factor. |
