I went from a full bar to a narrow because all my other saddles end up on her neck I don't understand why I can't get a saddle to fit her. My full trees Pop up in the back and I can slid my hand underneathe when I'm riding and they end up literally on her neck this old one pictures stays in place and stays down but her hair gets rubbed on both sides behind the shoulder

Thanks for all the responses. So if this narrow tree is too narrow and my full bar saddles end up on her neck which would be better to use I think either way I go she will be sore

I was using a full bar and shimming and it didn't help as soon as 5 min the saddle would be on her neck

The saddle being a "full bar" is only part of the equation. You have to take into account the shape of the tree. The angle of the bars, the flare in the tree, etc. I'm definitely not an expert but if I were you I would try to contact someone that is and have them help you. I will link you to one helpful article on seeing if your saddle fits.http://thefreedomsaddle.com/articles/saddle-fitting/checking-your-saddle-fit/

I agree too narrow.
I would find a saddle rep close to you and send him pics of your full bar saddle and ask for opinions.

If I were you I would sell both saddles that do not fit and have one built to fit your horse. It's not as expensive as everyone thinks. In fact there was a thread going around here that had a link to a saddle company with saddles custom made for under $700. Good quality too.

The bars on a saddle vary from maker to maker. Even the well known saddle makers use their own trees that vary from other brands. I have three Billy Cook saddles that are full qh bars. One has a wide gullet for my monster paint horse. All fit my horses great. I took a horse to Josey's to get a saddle fitted. Pam and Ty both said the semi qh bars would be a good fit and I was thinking hmmmm. This mare is really broad. I told them they better bring both trees out because I thought that semi GH would be too narrow. The semi fit like a glove and you could tell the full bars were way too wide. Your horse is not nearly as wide as mine. If I can catch the witch, I will take pictures of both saddles. Personally I do not recommend going out and buying an expensive saddle not knowing if it will fit. My Billy Cook saddles fit just about everything I have put them on. The only reason I bought the Josey saddle is that I needed a bigger seat.

I have a horse built similar.  It's hard to tell from the pictures but how tall is your horse and is the horse "thick?"  I have been through a Pro Rider, Cactus, and tried on a few other brands and bought a used Double J wide fit - I use a Biofit pad on and it fits him perfectly with this setup.  Good luck.

This horse will be on the market at some point this year I'm not spending any extra money on her that's why I got this ugly saddle thinking it would maybe fit. I have tried 7 Saddles. I bought the csi thibking it would help but I think the length of the pad just makes it worse I might look into the bio fit. I shim but it still doesn't help then again the other saddles I have may be too long for her and that's why the saddle pictures rides in place better too
