Location: Over by those oil wells, TX | I found an old thread where CYA didn't like hers on a horse that could buck but has anyone else tried them to give an opinion? I thought the actual seat looked deep like the old Lynn McKenzie seat which I loved. But if course the Intimidator has half the leather... only enough to cover the shorter bars. Looks good for a short backed horse though? Good quality leather, what there is of it. Haha! Opinions? |

lol. This is the 4th horse I'm buying sight unseen! I was supposed to pick him up tomorrow but the roads stopped both of us from making the exchange! My daughter is scheduled to pick him up the first of the week. The people I'm buying him from didn't want to risk the drive either! I've honestly only watched all of his races on equibase and the aqha race site and seen one win photo of him! Lol. in those race videos, especially if they place well, you get to see them up close coming back up the track after the race. I then risk it if i like what I see. I know that sounds foolish but if I then really feel good about the conversations with the connections I go for it! !!

Location: Riding Crackhead. | I also should say mine was a 14 1/2". I normally ride a 13 or 14 so there was a lot of play in there. I really really really wish I had an old CJ Double J Record Breaker though. Really nice saddle. |

um...cough cough cough....I did get launched. I was a lawn dart.  With that being said with the current mare I run maybe I'd like a saddle like that. I'm trying to learn to get up and hustle her. I ride her in a Cactus CJ 13". |

What size seat did you get? It seems 14 1/2 are popular. I wanted to try a Double J Pinkston and all I could find was that size. Again....fit my horse well but just too dang big. I'd still love to find one of those in a smaller size. |
