| So I recently picked up a young mare by Phantom Firewater. She comes from the Boyd Ranch that ownes him. I love his pedigree, but does anybody know him or ever seen him? This is her pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/br+hot+chic her dam is a maternal half sister to BR Sheza Nick Bar, who was a successful futurity horse a few years back.

I've heard of him but don't know anything about him. VERY interesting on the bottom with Smart Chic on a Shawne Bug. I always preferred straight run, but would have loved to see a SCO on a running mare. I loved that stud. He was the real thing |

I kinda liked the looks of the Sco cross, should be athletic thou. She is going to be my winter project and come spring I will decide what to do with her. |

| I have a man in Aubrey that breaks/starts my horses and one day when I was over there he showed me a Palomino gelding he had that he had broke and was riding. He told me if I ever found a Phantom Firewater horse to buy it. He said it was the best horse he had ever ridden, and he's broke horses for years. He said he was so smart, laid back, no nonsense, good listener, I mean I could go on and on. You are right they are very rare and I don't know much about him, but based on that, I would think you have you something. |

I thought I was the only one! I was so messed up on cough syrup this afternoon when I got home and saw my Secret Santa gift had arrived that I almost fell in the door trying to hurry and open it
Hope you feel better soon

| I bought a 2012 Phantom Firewater Filly from Boyd ranch this summer, sight unseen! "BR Show Me the Money". She came to me already broke, and when i say broke, i mean the best horse i've ever ridden broke. Im starting her on the pattern in January and will futurity her her 5 yo year. She is THE smartest, most willing to learn, greatest horse i've had the pleasure to own. Ive sent her around a barrel here and there and she turns them like shes been doing it for 15 years. Im so happy I came across this thread, I've not seen Phantom Firewater talked about very much!! |

Nice bottom side to that pedigree! They seem to really have some nice horses. I know they just purchased Bo Hills stallion Phame. |

Location: I don't really know anymore... | I know the horse, and Blaise personally. He is very nice stallion and was tried on the pattern for a while, but just didn't seem to really like it, in my opinion. Throws some very, very nice babies though!! |

| Phantom Firewater was bred by JB Quarter Horses and was sold through the LG Pro Classic Sale ages ago when he was just a yearling. Lance Graves bought him and changed his name. Phantom Firewater's 3/4 brother by Chasin Firewater is a 1D winner, Mr JB 0945, in the Northwest with Janelle Blubaugh. We have video of Janelle winning a race this past weekend on him posted on our Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/JB-Quarter-Horses-103651567032/
