I haven't seen a robin yet but have had a lot of geese and Bald Eagles flying over.  I also heard red-winged blackbirds this morning by the river.

No robins yet but the gaggles of geese going over heading to Canada tells me spring must be close.  I like the word gaggle.  Did I spell it right?

I think it's spelled correctly.

I have a flock of them here - they love my farm... all the boys are hanging out in the grass on the trees - everyone is trying to stake out the best spot!

I feel like I'm not getting the joke, but it might just be because I didn't get to sleep until about 2 AM last night.

ETA: I just figured it out...nevermind.

We had some show up mid Fed then we had 4ft of snow. I think they were regretting that decision.

I bet they were...we got cold and snow in February too on our side of the mountains...I think we even broke records for our cold temperatures!

BTW: Thanks for the tip on the trainer! I ended up going with her. My horse has already been with her for a little more than a week and I can't wait to see how she is doing. :-

I saw one several weeks ago too - do they not go south anymore? I wondered that when I saw it because it was about 15 degrees the day that I saw it.
