That's the way it sounds to me....if you believe the media hype.
The GOP in Texas is fractured, with many of the establishment elites determined to defeat Trump at all costs. Now we see a narrative that for the first time in 40 years, Texas has a chance of voting for a Democrat for President. The combination of a dysfunctional state GOP, an influx of progressive liberals, and illegals is turning Texas into a purple "battleground" state.
Congratulations, Republicans. The reddest of the red states is changing her colors.

LOL, saw that too, they are so full of BS.. Its funny when we go into town, well really anywhere all I see areTrump/Pence signs but have not yet to see a Hillary sign anywhere. The Hillary people must be laying really low because they are not proud like us Trump people..

We are witnessing living proof of the adage, "history repeats itself".
We are living in an oligarchy. That's what happened to Rome.

I refuse to believe Hillary will win Texas, but if that happens, we are screwed.

That would be horrible, but I'm afraid this actually could happen....  Texas..  of all places....  that would be so very very wrong and sad....  and...  wow.

No, Texas is not a purple state. A conservative nominee would have wiped the floor here. A lot of people here just wont vote for Trump. He is just that bad of a candidate.

Hubby has been trying to get me to move to Texas ever since I met him. I like it down there but can't take the heat and what goes with it. That and business has kept us up here in the frozen North.

But in the last decade I have seen some boner political moves many in Texas have supported and even hubby has decided that it is not the haven it once was. Think some of the textbook and mandatory vaccine decisions. Too many Yankees and in years of late, Californians, have moved in and clogged the population with Liberals bringing in their ways, just knowing that if all the gun loving folks clinging to their Bibles could just be exposed to their "light" Texans will see the "way" to a Socialist paradise.

Sorry Texans, I really AM sorry. For all y'all, and for us, because there is no where to flee to anymore.

I refuse to believe My State would vote Hillary in. I choose to believe it is the media, once again, stirring the pot trying to make people believe it is one way, when it is really the other. Some people will have the mentality that if we are doomed, why waste my time and energy going to vote for Trump. Praying that will light a fire under those folks and that we will whip her rear!!!

I have a friend who is retired from the Border Patrol, Dave, and he lives up near Dallas. He's a good, smart, conservative guy and a fierce advocate for border security and pro 2nd amendment rights.
He posted something like this the other day:

"I just returned from early voting. I voted for Trump only. I didn't vote for anyone else down the ticket, Republican or Democrat.
F#€k those Plutos."

In 2012 the GOP had an excellent candidate in Romney. He was a perfect gentleman with fantastic record of success in everything he did. He made some strategic errors in that campaign, but I believe he would have been an excellent president....certainly better than the douche bag we have now. Another big reason why he lost was that about 4 million so-called Republicans stayed home. They threw their suckers in the dirt. This time around we have a brawler who has a strong populist appeal. Still, his plan is very strong, and infinitely better than Hillary's. Now we are hearing that as much as 20% of so-called Republicans are either not going to vote, and many are even voting for Clinton. If the GOP can't unite, the way the Democrats do, and if they lose the senate, and possibly even the house, then they will get what they deserve.......and so will the rest of America.

Dallas, Houston and San Antonio are heavily populated Hispanic. I know Dallas county is a sanctuary county. There were news reports yesterday about the poll samples being weighted to favor Democrats. In my observations, via social media and driving through town the support for Trump is 10 fold compared to Hillary. I'm not worried at this point just encouraging people to VOTE!
