I submit there is a better than zero chance it never happens.
Look towards our Divine leaders in Washington for more on this. Don't discount the involvement of the SEC also at this point. |

Since the Divine leaders in Washington (Nancy P and her Squad ) are having such a melt down over this Twitter deal with Elon Musk, they should all pool their money together and buy Twitter so they can keep control of it. Sounds like a pretty done deal with Musk at the reins now. |

| I'm might be a tad pessimistic on this but I think people are getting way too prematurely excited over this possibility. I don't see it being a life changing event as some do. Course I never used Twitter, never could figure it out as with the likes of Instagram and snapchat. I much prefer the ridiculousness and sensoring and fact checkers riding my butt on Facebook (I'm being sarcastic) I do hope things change for the better on social media outlets but I also hope that people can be mature enough to handle it. I don't see it as an open invitation to start bashing people who have a different view on things and not be sensored. From what I've seen very few people can disagree on something with class .. it usually turns into name calling, finger pointing, and ridiculous memes making fun. Do better! I think a lot of people believe that if Elon Musk does in fact get the takeover that he will allow Trump back on Twitter. I'm not sure and to be honest, I don't really care. It won't change much in my opinion. And I'm a DJT fan for the record. I just don't get too excited over things like this anymore. The government is pretty much going to do what they want, when they want. We pretty much pay attention to whatever they dangle in our faces ... i.e Elon Musk taking over Twitter, Johnny Depps very public trial to name a few... I started thinking the best thing that could happen would be to do away with social media as a whole! Lol .. never gonna happen.. but imagine ... I like Facebook but it's turned into a huge political platform .. I enjoy photos of my family and friends, reading stories watching barrel runs from friends, horse shopping, tack shopping, information on certain companies etc etc... I like sharing positive things but I think more people seek drama or conflict anyway. |

My only source of Social Media is Newsmax, Foxnews and local news to watch the weather, I dont do FB or Twitter, heck I dont even know how to use either, on FB if its open to the public I'll check out something someone mentioned but my real Social Media is BHW, lol. I get alot from here when something is brought up I google it, LOL. Trump has already said he would not be joining Twitter, I think hes got a Social Media network of his own in the making so I'm guessing he'll stick to it. I just think its so funny how the Dems are having a melt down over this Twitter Takeover by Musk, they are really worried about it. The way it sounds its a done deal, but who knows, maybe the Dems will come up with the money (Tax payers money) and buy Twitter themselves, now that would be a hoot or maybe not . |

Freedom Of Speech---Musk got mad that they took down something he posted so he said SCREW YOU, and bought the whole company and is now saying people will be free to express what they want. This is what happens when you **** off the richest man in the world. |

The freedom thing is huge, because the censoring has gone far far beyond politics and religion on FB now. I got put in FB jail not long ago for sharing the meme that says "horses are more addictive than cocaine but twice as expensive."......it was against FB beliefs apparently. They kicked me off for a week for it. So people are ready to have a platform that they don't get "grounded" on every time they say something thats not within a certain core value set. And for people like me who post something actually harmless, that took away my ability to attend a funeral because I didn't see the post on FB and hadn't had contact with the family that week. It had been delayed due to covid and I missed it when it was announced. And I can't see events/showbills posted. So it sucks. Some people get kicked off for much longer than I did, so people are ready for a change. I rarely am on twitter but I might jump on more often |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | Years ago I joined, and never once used it. I can't claim to know if Elon Musk is fooling everyone or not. I can't even guess how he leans politically, but he's obviously very bright. He's also tenacious and gutsy. If he issues an ultimatum, you can bank on him being serious. I assume the guy thinks man's contribution to climate change is real. On the other hand, maybe he's simply producing the best product in response to what he thinks is public demand. His cars are **** nice....for eVs. He had his fill of Kalifornia, so we have the largest building I've ever seen about a half hour away from where I live. He has called out powerful left wing oligarchs like Gates and Bezos. He's good at slap-downs and he doesn't take sh!t. The innovation he brought with SpaceX is awfully impressive...to the extent that he's embarrassed our very own NASA. The first time I saw those boosters return to the launch pad I couldn't believe my eyes...it was incredibly cool. Now they routinely re-use boosters, rockets, and capsules. NASA's just burn up. If you haven't read about Space X, you should, because it's fascinating. This is one man who literally reaches for the stars.
I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and believe him when he says he wants Twitter to be a platform based on free speech and the open exchange of ideas and opinions. When he says he welcomes his harshest critics, I'm inclined to believe the man. He strikes me as a libertarian who obviously believes in free market capitalism. We'll see. |

I have several people I know that get banned or put in FB jail for such chicken poop things, they got 30 days sometimes. I'm assuming they have some sort of watch list or something since the same people are getting tossed in jail pretty often. The fact checkers are the ones that crack me up snd the silly little banners they slap on some posts saying it's missing information. |
