Location: Washington		Feed testing question! So we just bought some Grass pellets from a company who makes them as a by-product. A few ladies up here feed their horses them and have GREAT results and fat shiny horses and they have become quite popular.

But my concern is for my one gelding with PSSM...I am going to have it tested through Equi-Analytical before feeding it to him, but my question is what all should I have it tested for? I know of course the starch levels. Should I also select the Ethanol Soluble Carbohydrates, and Water Soluble Carbohydrates as well?

Location: Texas		I've been told the two important things when texting are non-structural carbohydrates and fructans. I've never tested for fructans but I have tested for the carbs. I'm not a specialist so you will want to double check that with someone.
