Location: never in the right place
and live in a cold climate. How do you keep it from becoming a brick in the winter? I just started using it this summer and it compacts in the bag so I was wondering how to keep it from becoming 1 solid 50lb block. lol I only have 1 horse so it takes a while to feed a bag and the feed store is not so close that I want to go there once a week for 1 bag of grain.

you can keep it indoors the extra bags.. or stand straight up helps to instead of stacking.. I havent had the issue but i think it would help..
