Never, EVER, watch a Spielberg directed movie then follow it with anything else directed by someone else. You will not enjoy the 2nd movie as much as you could. This man's work ranks as high as anyone since Alfred Hitchcock. I use Hitchcock because as a director he was a genius at working with shadows. (but then all this movies were black and white) But not only that. Hitchcock was as good a director as Hollywood has ever seen. Anybody that can take an actor like James Stewart and put him in a genre of the movie Vertigo and come away with..

ranked #61 in the list of AFI: 100 Greatest American Movies
ranked #18 in the list of AFI: 100 Most Thrilling Movies Ever
ranked #12 in the list of AFI: 100 Years of Film Scores
ranked #9 in the list of AFI: 100 Greatest American Movies - 10th Anniversary - 2007
ranked #1 in the list of AFI: Greatest Mystery Thrillers

That's genius...
