Probios before bute?

I was told probios is good to give if you are giving bute for more then 2 or 3 days at a time. The miniature farm where I used to work she'd give it every time to her mini's before bute. I bought a tube at my local feed store for like 6 dollars. It doesn't exactly say how much to give. It just says foals after being born 10m and mares after foaling 15m.

Any ideas on how much I would give before bute?

Bute doesnt affect gut bacteria like antibiotics can. It can irritate the gut but probiotics aren't going to help it. I would be more inclined to feed a little aloe vera juice or something to sooth and protect.
