circle y saddle trees ?

Do/did they make their own trees or do they get them from a tree maker? I've found a saddle that fits my horse...98 model NBHA circle y. I looked up the serial # and it has a semi quarter tree. Problem is I hate riding in it. I just keep it around to put on colts. I love riding in my Lazy L but it leaves roughed up hair on this horse. So....is there a Coats out there that will fit like that circle y? Or another brand that rides similar? I love how free i feel in the coats. I feel trapped in the circle y and cant make adjustments in a run. Any suggestions??

Circle Y is a production made Saddle, as is the Lazy L. USUALLY Production made saddle companies do not make their own trees. They have a tree dealer they buy from.
With that being said you have one of two options: Learn to ride the Circle Y. Or, Call Circle Y and ask what brand of tree is in the saddle and what the specs are on that specific tree. If they are unable to answer your question, call the tree maker and get a semi quarter tree sent over to you. Have a Lazy L saddle built on that tree. They'll do it. If they won't sell the tree to you contact Lazy L and have them order the tree for you to build on.
