On the Double J saddles, is the standard gullet 6" and a wide is 7"? Asking because that is what I wrote down last night when I called and asked about the saddle I had with the serial # I gave them and was asking about the #10 (6 7/8th) and the wides(7). But looking on here I see other wise, totally confused!!

I think it was Phillip who I talked to at Double J. It's been a while. But basically he explained to me that the biggest difference between a wide and a standard and the way that they'll fit was the angle of the bars. Not the gullet size. I have a Wide and a #10. The #10 fits a very specific horse. One that need a lot more rock to the bars and kind of tends to drop off right behind the shoulder.
