This should probably be posted under the trailer forum but I never go over there lol. My mom has an older LQ Sundowner and she has updated all of the lights to LEDs. She has mentioned that she would like a LED strip to go under the awning. I found a few strips for RVs on Amazon with good reviews but im wondering about the install. Any insight? It looks like they have to be wired in. She has one light at the top if the LQ door under the awning. Does it need to be wired in there??

Mine was wired to a dedicated toggle switch.  In other words the switch was added.
