Location: Texas | I have several hacks, haven't owned a horse in years that runs barrels better in one than a bit, but I have one now, I have a rope nose shanked sidepull, works good in it , but could use more whoa,,, need input on something you may have used that has lots of whoa and rate

I found the Carl's' hack it is on L&W bits website, do you have the steel nose, chain nose or rope nose version?? |

| I worked mine a few times in a Jim Warner and ended up buying a Pozzi Hack, a long shank Jim Warner with the rubber covered chain nose - Pro Choice just makes it instead of Reinsman.
I love him in it. There's whoa, but there's also bend and finesse. |

| I like the lady bug hack. It is made to fit lower on the nose than most hacks. Over 20 years ago I used one called a rocky hack, but haven't seen any in ages. |

I have the rope nose.
I also have a Bozo but don't like it as much. My horse doesn't care for it. |

It is steel. There was one posted on a Fb page today and it was called a trammel. Looked just like the one I have.
Nose piece is kinda formed around the nose of the horse.
Horse I rode it on didn't need any brakes other than rate at the first. I only ran him in it. |
