Location: Kansas | I saw a link for a drink that called for a drop of lavender essential oils. Save to take internally? I want to try this drink, but afraid of using the oil lol. |

| I would research the drink to find out if the lavender oil is therapeutic grade. I have taken essential therapeutic grade oils in my water before. I would rather buy the lavender essential oil from a reputable company and add it to my water that way I know what I am ingesting. Also you can google it. |

| Yes! Try rubbing it on your feet, just about my favorite way to use oils and very effective. I like that better than putting a drop in my water. |

Location: Bandera, TX | Be careful as not all Lavender is GRAS (Generally recognized as safe for internal consumption.) Lavandula officinalis Chaix is GRAS, its best in a capsule. Use with caution if you have low BP as it will lower BP. Mix with chamomile and sleep/relax for a while. 3 drops is 60mg and that's the latest recommendation from the last study that I read. |

Lavender is very relaxing! So it can help ease the feeling is stress and anxiety. Believe it or not, there are a lot of nerves and things in your feet that trigger and are connected to the rest of the body. When applying to the feet, it helps those areas as well |

thin skin = quick absorption into the body. I believe this is where they say to rub vicks for babies and young children too .... |

| Probably not the same thing and more expensive but Bath and Body Works has a stress relief line and sleep line that have these oils in it like lavender, etc! |

I want to add something, if your putting oils into a diffuser please make sure they to are the best quality you can get. The lungs are a huge tree of vascular access and thus a direct line to your circulatory system. When I have students that can't get an IV line we have them give drugs via the lungs in prehospital medicine. |
