Wondering if I'm going to have to break down and spend the ~15/16$ per bottle.....

I use a concentrate that I dilute out in water, but I am NOT impressed with it. I love Pyrannah but its like $16-17/ bottle here

Endure sweat resistant. I spray mine down every am even if they don't have flies on them. I also put fly predators around barn and on manure pile. These two things have made so much difference.

I have a gelding that stomps at flies so much in summer he pushes the toe of his shoe back and wears the the toe down. They can fracture or bruise from stomping so much. That hasn't happened this year.

Pyranha has worked the best for me. I use both the blue and yellow bottles. One is oil based and one is water based.

# 1 choice is Gordon's. # 2 is Absorbine Ultra Shield (black label).

I actually have had good luck with outsmart fly spray by smartpak and the green bottle by pyrannah. They are "natural" fly sprays in a way but I find them to work just as good because they are stinky. The mosquitos really don't like them. I have made my own fly sprays as well or have added Avon skin so soft to bronco gold and that makes a pretty good mix. I don't go through a ton because I just have the one horse right now and I also have my horse covered with a fly sheet and sho flys so the only area that needs spraying is belly and middle of legs.

I recently ordered the Equiderma and just got it, so anxious to see how it works.  Otherwise the Pyrahna or the Endure work best for me.  Also the "Horse & Pony Spray" from Tractor Supply works pretty good, but the bottle sucks and quits working or leaks all in your vehicle, so don't let it tip over if you try this one.

Mosquito Halt works for me, just recently bought Bug Pellent. Pyhrana (yellow) and Gordons Horse & Pony (smells good) give my horse welts. The Gordons sprayer does suck, I put it in a different fly spray bottle I had.

I was a big Pyranha fan until Opti-Force came out. It's worked the best for me & there's usually always a coupon floating around somewhere for it.

Also I had read somewhere that if you rotate your fly sprays seems to work better so that is what I am doing this year. I like all of the fly sprays that are mentioned although have not tried the Endure yet.

Phyrnna or Bronco. My one horse sneezes every time I use the phyrnna on him, so I switched to bronco. Plus the bronco is really cheap! It works pretty good.

I liked the Mosquito Halt but I have one horse that will run from it and Tractor Supply doesn't carry it here.

I like Equisect brand.  And anything water based will evaporate much faster than the oil based sprays, especially in high heat.

Pro Force by Manna Pro. I paid $12.95. I like Pyhranna but can't stand the smell.

I use UltraShield Sport formula, but just when I ride.  I don't feel that any fly spray really provides that much protection, so he's 90% covered in mesh during turnout.

We get flies and mosquitoes that get as big as birds in ND, so we need the very best protection. The only thing I've found to be effective is Pyranaha. I have the yellow bottle and the Zero version (all natural) I like the Zero when I ride and then I'll spray the regular on them before I throw them out to pasture for the night.

My favorite? OFF DEEP WOODS. Seriously, that stuff works. Keeps the ticks off too.

But as far as horse fly spray, I do like Pyrannah and use that.

I've been wanting to try the Pyrannah brand, but I'm very allergic to Lanolin, and it's in the yellow bottle..bummer!

Pyranha... It's hands down the best. You can order it in bulk (I think by the gallon) and it does make it a bit cheaper.
