Disclaimer - this is only about the few I have ridden - not all fall under this.  I'm talking own get of TW.

They tend to be made more narrow based in the front - ideal for spins in reining as they can really reach over in the front for some real dramatic turns, not so ideal for other disciplines. 
The couple I worked with had small feet that tended to be a bit shelly for my liking.  
They also tended to be "paddlers" so when on a run down for a slide, they'd smack their own legs - had to keep them booted up real well for protection. 

Now, this is not to say that all own get will be like this.  I highly doubt they are or they wouldn't be bringing the prices they bring.  The above is only what I have experienced.
