Lovely babies. So glad they are all healthy. Is it normal for coyotes to get them in that pasture? You think you might could move them to somewhere more safe during foaling time....just a thought. Sure is sad to think that any of these beauties could have been coyote food.

this year a friend of mines baby got attacked by coyotes, while the mare was having him. She was up at the barn in lights and they still got a hold of the baby. SO… it happens! I don't think anyone has the authority to pass judgment on how someone else decides to handle their business…. Nice babies! That bay is my favorite!

The last time I checked, coyotes were a threat to household pets in the back yards of Los Angeles California... So.....It's pretty difficult to find a place they don't roam...

Oh simmer down you two. I'm not judging anyone.
