I saw on allbreed that her sire only had one foal crop. Maybe that is part of it.

No, she does not have any foals performing. She hasn't had any foals. She is a broodmare prospect. This mare was very dominant on the track. At this point, I would say that the purchase price would reflect someone's desire to own this individual as much as it does her potential as a broodmare.

Harve De Grade ($10mil broodmare)was 2011 Eclipse Champion Older Female and 2011 Horse of the Year. She had a filly by Tapit in 2014, and was supposed to be bred back to War Front for 2015 but I don't think she took because no foaling news from this year. No news on if she is bred for 2016. Below is her Tapit Filly from 2014
