Your horse is probably diving if you can't get balanced.Be sure to rate and push on the horn to set you in the saddle.

Definitely feels like she dives from time to time so I've really been working at getting all her body parts freed up stood up and working right off the pattern and on, what else can I do to help with that?

Many years ago Martha Josey told me I needed to "ride my crack". I had a good idea what she meant, but didn't really get it until several years later. I was on the upper deck of a smallish boat going out to a dive reef and we hit rought water. On the upper deck we had those plastic chairs everyone has. Nothing to hold on to. One of my fellow divers said don't tense up, sit deep into the chair and move with it. It really worked on a boat, so I thought about how I ride. It works on a horse too. Sit deep, ride your crack and don't brace so much on your legs. Let your body stay centered with your saddle horn and you will be fine. Just relax and "ride your crack.."
