Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone else have horses that have "outsmarted" the Hay Chix nets? I have the corner nets hanging in my stalls and 2 of my 3 horses will put their head under the net and push the hay out the top to bypass the slow feeding option. The nets have held up very well and worked great at first but now I am back to dealing with wasted hay all over the stall floor.
I was worried about my horses doing that when I saw those! No way I could use them
Ive never had that problem but yes I could imagine a horse outsmarting it. Thats why I really like my Free up feeders. I can still get about 3 flakes of hay in it and there is no way for them to outsmart it.

I totally recommend Hayburners slow feed hay nets. I have about 5-6 of these and have used them very faithfully for about 4 years. The half bale size holds about 3-4 Flakes of hay and the whole bale size holds an entire square bale. I have yet to fix any tears! Mine are all 1.75 inch squares.
