Southtxponygirl - 2017-10-17 12:35 PM Hes a cutie , but would like to see a longer/clearner neck on him.
I love a good ol short thick neck! I think his neck is perfect. Different strokes for different folks I am a big time bull doggy fan and like a horse built thick like that. But I am probably the odd man out on my way of thinking, I like a cowy/foundation/old race bred horse better than the new race breeding.
I love the cowy types too, I have one that has a short thick neck too wish it were a bit longer and clearner he would be a perfect built horse to me. But thats the way he is, lol..
I've always liked the high headed, shorter necked horses, but it's probably because that's what the first horse I ever trained was and I had a lot of success with him. I had a mare that people would tell me I should sweat her neck, it was as thick as a stud's, but I loved it lol

LOL, Homer not high headed thank goodness, hes pretty leavel headed for a short necked horse, just wish he had a little more neck to him and I would feel like hes more balanced if he had more neck to him, compared to my others hes not as balanced, but thats ok hes my buddy still
