I'm not worried about the horses, didn't know if I should be though lol The only animals I would be worried about is your cats, and if you let you dogs out to go potty at night you need to watch out for them, I have seen coyotes run up in yards and grab a cat or dog and run off with them. Coyotes are very sneaky animals, they have ran off with my mini winnie dog, but she got away from them, I dont know how she did it but she did, and another thing you have to watch out for is Owls, they love small dogs and cats too. My poor winnie dog was always the target of owls. holy cow!! what did you do when it happened?
That poor little dog, she and my other dogs would love to follow me while I was riding, where I lived in the Rio Granda Valley we had a huge canal that ran by our house and there was lots of coyotes that lived along there, one night a couple started to follow me, I knew they were starking the dogs, and silly Lucy {Mini weinnie} decided to chase them off, well they took ahold of her and ran off in the corn feild, I chased them but lost them ran home got hubby and truck went looking. I just knew that they made a meal out of her I was so sick about it, next morning I heard something at the door and there she was, and was looking at me like where did you go mom, I took care of those bad dogs for you,lol.. I do not know how she did it but she got away and she had not markes on her at all, now the owls love her too, they were always trying to carry her off. Poor Lucy..One night she went flying by my window, darn Owl had her, but it droped her after a few seconds of her wiggling, poor baby had tiny little holes all along her back from the owls sharp nails..

Location: Texas | We have quite a few coyotes around me and they have never seemed to bother horses. I also have a feeling I have lost a few little dogs to them. I had one dog who protected me and my place who would chase the coyotes away from the house. They got the best of her one day and I had to put her to sleep. RIP Sue you were the best...my scared little pound puppy. Sorry I got off topic. I have never had such am amazing dog like her.

Location: Pacific Northwest | We have coyotes all over our 125 acre property. Never had them get anywhere near the horses or even up by the house. The cows chase them off if they get anywhere near the calves. We've never lost cats or chickens either but again, they never make it up to the house. I see a coyote almost every time I ride, they're scared of the horses and run off.
They will try and lure your dogs off to kill them though.

Location: California | We have a lot of coyotes around here as well .Neither us nor the surrounding properties have had problems with them on any level aside from chickens being snatched . They don't bother the dogs either . Now the wolves that are hanging around are a whole other issue , but the coyotes are usually just looking at picking off the rabbits .
