So, go out an try on every hat you can find till you have one that fits..... and yes, the hairspray thing on the forhead does help. I would second this. A properly fitting hat won't come off nearly as easily. That said, I always used a stampede string just in case.

Maybe I didn't have it pulled down low enough on my forehead??
