I would have done the muscle biopsy back in May if I was not promised results from a hair test by July.

I understand. The muscle biopsy wasn't a big deal at all! It was a small cut maybe 2-2.5 inches long and wasn't very deep. The vet put 3-4 stitches in it and took them out in 10 days. Hopefully you get results back soon!

The muscle biopsy was done on mine in ten minutes, three stitches, I took them out in six days and I had my results on day 7.

Our vet made it out to be a huge ordeal to have a muscle biopsy done. Of course just having them return a phone calls seems to be a big ordeal for them as well...

Finally got the results back for the guy I was most concerned about. He does have pssm 2, which we pretty much already knew from his symptoms. He is n/P2. Still waiting on the other horse. And submitted test for my new horse too which I unfortunately think might have it
