Location: Where we still run to look when the siren goes by. | Our traditional dinner is prime rib, roast, or steaks so this year we did something different and did the actual turkey dinner.
It was fun as we started the morning with breakfast of pumpkin waffles with apple cider syrup, lots of fruit, breakfast steaks, hash browns, sausage, and biscuits..
It was fun for all of us girls to get together and cook, talk, and drink wine. |

We do the whole traditional Thanksgiving dinner; then for Christmas we have a snack-fest of dips, mini sandwiches,Β cookes, etc. Β It makes it really easy. Β
Ditto ~ this is what we have done for years now. Everyone seems to like it that way |

Location: Where you need a paddle... Oregon! | We open gifts Christmas morning. I make cinnamon rolls to hold everyone over then we eat brunch. In years past we have french toast casserole, sausage balls, fruit, etc.
This year I made cinnamon rolls, as usual, and The Pioneer Woman's braised brisket, homemade dinner rolls and a cheesy potato casserole. It might become the new tradition.
