I have a Samsung front load.  I love it.  Gets clothes really clean and uses minimal soap and fabric softener.

RocketPilot - 2018-11-26 2:34 PM Got a new washing machine yesterday, and I hate it.  Sooo loud.  I got a Maytag, top load without an agitator.  I picked it because it had the largest load capasity but geez it is too loud.  I am taking it back but don't know what to replace it with.  Previously, I had a front load that was really quite but thought the top load might clean better.  Opinions?

Call the company......they shouldn't be that loud. It may be defective.

Before I got my front load, I was warned that the high setting on the spin cycle sounded like a jet taking off.  They were right!  But there is no need to use that high setting anyway, so I make sure it is never used.
