| I wouldn't shy away from the prospect you have. But anything with lots of Joe Hancock breeding you couldn't pay me take. I have never had good luck and was severely injured on one with many, many miles. He just exploded one day and showed his rodeo star potential. |

Location: Where ever life takes me, Oklahoma | A lot of times Hancock bred horses get a bad rep simply because of their name, people dont give the actual horse a chance. From a gal that is riding one and has rode others, I wouldn't back up from it not one bit.

Location: South | I have owned several Hancock horses in the past. They are all big, gritty, smart, and quick. What I like about the ones I've owned is they transition well from cattle to speed events. The one I currently own can work a pen of cattle, and then stretch her out to run barrels. She is never HOT, or hard to handle, and she is only about 14.3 MAX Hands. She rides in an O ring and loose rein. I would def have another one and think they are great horses.
But one thing about her in particular, is she is a one person horse, she doesn't like other people. She DEALS with my husband and farrier. I think maybe it maybe that I have bonded with her, and she trust only me?? |

I love the Hancock lines and with the others you mentioned I would bet you got a good one on your hands... They love to work, they are so well made and mine all ooze character lol
Mine have all been very trainable and soooo well minded... they are built to last and are GOOD LOOKIN TO BOOT! I would love to see a pic of yours! |

Location: ny | My Hancock horse came from cross spur . I absolutely love him ! I've had him from a yearling and he had always had the greatest personality he's gritty and smart. I love how bold he is not much scares that guy . He's a little slower to mature than the others but he has a better handle than the rest and if you are looking for a horse to keep for the long run there the way to go. |
