The sling never does fit quite flush and it's kind of a flaw in the design however I have always liked them and found they don't fill up with hardly any dirt. They seem to fit a bigger variety of horses. I bought a pair of elites and they just seem small and flimsy. The part near the fetlock never closes completely like it should. I am currently using iconoclast and they are nice but again I get that gap next to the fetlock and they do get dirt in them. I am using them because I have previously had soft tissue injuries. I bought a pair of the CE crossfits this spring and they are the best fitting boot I've found! I use polos on the back...so much less complicated!

Yep, hence why I don't use them. Thought it was only me!

Just recently sold all my CE and switched to mainly polos. I do have a couple profchoice boots and would be interested in trying iconoclast.

I have several pairs of the Legacy boots and I like them much better than the PC on two of the horses...the other one I can't get the CE to fit...like she's in between sizes and it gaps...not that the PC are too much better on her either. I think it really depends on the horse.
On a side note, does anyone else have problems with the CE no turn bell boots that have the designs...the plastic layer just peels off and looks like crap after a couple uses? I finally peeled it all off two of the pairs... That is my biggest complaint with CE.

I too tried the classic equine legacy 4 pack and couldn't get them to fit any horse I owned properly.... Sold them got a pair of iconoclast... They weren't bad but they seem to be difficult to size to your horse I measured 3 times and I still got a pair that are too small. I have all elites now... They are decent boots. Love my bar f but I only have two pairs left and they are xs and large so only a couple of my horses can fit in those trusty boots!

I had that issue too, but have now switched to Iconoclast.
Same here, no complaints with the Iconoclast boots. I actually love them and there is never dirt inside the boots after riding.

Yep! The coating does that. I don't know why they even bothered to put it on there. I think the newer printed ones don't have it anymore. I just get back ones. They go with any color boots and you don't have to worry about getting stains out.
