| So.. either she doesn't want to go overnight and is using her hubby as a scape goat,
or there are trust issues there for some reason (maybe he is the very jealous type).

Gosh I can't imagine her not "really" wanting to go. We talk about camping and doing rides all the time. She is definitely not the type that takes any crap from anyone, so I am just so surprised that she doesn't put her foot down and say too bad, I'm going.....strange. I just don't get it. |

I don't know, but if I were your friend, I'd be checking to see what the husband is doing in his spare time. Usually the reason someone doesn't trust you is because they can't be trusted themselves. Didn't you say they've had jealousy fights before? Maybe he's up to no good so he automatically thinks she's up to no good also. Just sayin.... |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | My husband doesn't get my show stuff and I don't want him there stressing me out, but I am often gone 3-4 days at a time and he knows it isn't a big deal (other than the cost lol). I am leaving in March for 4 days and flying out with a friends husband to TX. I am going to the AQHA Convention and he is one of the Directors for WY. Neighter my husband or my friend has a care about it, but I have had friends like that-whose husbands didn't trust them to go and as far as I know, said friend has never been inappropriate when away from her spouse.
It's sad, but relationships are strange from one person to the next. |

Indeed they are. My husband and I have a great relationship. We both are supportive of each other's hobbies!! He rides dirt bikes and travels with buddies a lot...by have fun is what I say, as he does the same when I get a chance to travel with my horses. |
