Good call on Copauino but her dam Copasetti produced really nice horses! I have also been thinking about this, I really like Miss Jelly Roll, Topless Dancer, Corona Chick, First Prize Rose. I also decided that any rebs Policy Mare.

I have daughters of:
Strawflyin Buds, Reckless Dash, Jet of Honor, Stoli, Confederate Leader, Rock Solid Jess, and my Shazoom is leaving in a few days so I won't have her anymore.

What I love about their bottom side of my Reckless Dash is her dam is Leavem Lucille and she's produced several really nice barrel horses. Levin Lucille namely, followed by Lucy Lucille, then my Lucy.

The Shazoom mare has a very strong female family. Her dam, Dashin La Jolla, is the dam to Dashin Czar who in the week of the BFA World Championships won over $100,000- as a late 3 year old.

The Rock Solid Jess mare has a very strong female family- namely her second dam Runaway Dee Dee by Runaway winner. Bobby Cox owns Runaway DeeDee and several of her daughters.

The Jet Of Honor mare on the bottom side is old school cow blood. She is 19 years old so a lot of the stuff on her papers are older. she's a bad cat still.. we love her.

The Strawflyin Buds is out of a daughter of Rare Form…the confederate leader out of a Packin Sixes mare..

And My Stoli mare's dam, Shiney Miles, produced Rare News among a few others.

On a mare's side I'd rather have consistent, outstanding produce (ie: stakes horses) than names. I'd also rather have that than a blue hen mare 2-3 generations back if the dam hasn't don't anything.

I love Separatist daughters, but they'd need the right dam for me to buy them.
My biggest criteria is stakes performance, and if the mare isn't old enough to have produced it, she needs to have a family behind her for me to spend money breeding her.

I have a wide assortment of genetics standing in my pasture...but my mares share some distinct qualities with the each other.Β

I have a gelding that's a grandson on the dams side of Rebs Policy. I love that guy to death, only gelding that has a permanent home here... I have had him for 15 years so far.

Corona Chick is my FAVOURITE mare hands down. I have said it before and will say it again. You can't deny that all of her babies aren't proving themselves in some way or another. Her and her dam.... although strawberry silk is a close second. I love first prize rose as well. Maybe I'm a secret Beduino fan, and I don't even own one!

I have daughters of Dash Ta Fame, Dash For Perks, Casady Casanova and with any luck a Band Of Azure very soon. Those are all names I look for on the dam side. As well as Bully Bullion, Shawne Bug, Firewater Flit, The Signature.
