I am looking at a new (to me) trailer and it is the same make and year as the BP I just sold. Mine had some minor roof leakage that we fixed up with some sealant but it still let a little water in.
Is there any protocol for testing the waterproof-ness of this new trailer? Would it be correct to ask if I can use a hose or pour some water on top w/ a bucket to see where it leaks?
I can patch a tiny spot or 2 but I don't want ANY water in the dressing room, especially if I do laminate floors.

(I am a GN trailer virgin and have a few other beginner questions about a few details).
It also has 2 awnings. They are manual I believe and not sure of the brand, are there videos of how to pull out awnings?
There is also an AC in the dressing room. I plan on insulating the DR, anyone have problems w/ leaks around the AC unit on the roof? He said the AC works through a plug on the outside of the trailer, do I have to park in a camp ground setting to use the AC?

Have someone get on the roof with a hose and put pressure to the water you run on the roof while you get inside and watch for leaks. believe it or not the spray stuff you see on TV and can get at Wal-Mart works great to seal leaks and you can even get clear now. If the air conditioner has leaks around it you can take the shroud off and seal around it also.

I bought a bran new trailer that leaked in the tack room the dealer told me it was condensation but since moving to dryer climate I find it won't hold the rain out.
