mare cycle issues?

My mare went into heat 2 weeks ago. She got dull and unresponsive so I gave her a break and let her sit for a few days. Its been 2 weeks and she isn't herself still. Only now she's high strung, has a lot of attitude, and seems a little sore.
Yesterday she pulled back and snapped yet another lead rope, and bucked throwing me into the fence.
Today my trainer was working with her and she again threw a few more bucks, wouldnt listen, had a little fit about everything.
This behavior is not normal for her, the only thing we could think of was that she was still on her cycle.
Anything I can give her to help?

I agree, have her ultrasounded. There are different treatment options based on what your vet finds.
