Have a friend who is a breeder, I have bought horses from him. He has two fillies who are full sisters. I own a older full sister. I noticed when there yesterday that on the coming 2 yr old her ankles almost touch the ground. She has VERY long pasterns and they are more
horizontal
then vertical. More so on her front legs more then her rear but its to a degree on all her legs. I was wondering if it may be a vitiman defiency or something that he can change in their feed to correct this. I noticed her coming yrling sister is starting to do the same thing. Out of the 6 foals he has had by this mare these are the first to ever do this.
Any one have any recommendations on what might help these fillies? They are from really nice barrel racing bloodlines but they wont sell them as that as they are worried they will break down, I just want to be able to maybe offer him something that could help his horses. Thanks in advance for any help or sharing your experience in this.
