I saw notice of one horse from Odessa that came down with it. I think that's been a week ago or more now? Haven't seen anything since.

lol it has never went away. It is something that is always around. We just only hear about it when it hits a BIG show. I think you should always take the proper precautions. When I haul out I treat every other horse out there like they have something. I dont share feed or water buckets, I dont let my horses stand in crammed lines nose to nose with other horses and I always try parking near my friends or on the outside edges of shows so I dont have to worry about what someone elses horse is doing. When I stall overnight I bring a big bottle of my own mix of stall de germer lol and My own shavings, plus I ask for stalls on the outside edges in the less popular areas.
