I have a mare that tends to die at the end of a run. Today I took her to a track to breeze her for the first time. About 4 hours later I noticed her shaking her head a lot in her pen. Could she have bled? Would a horse be shaking their head that long after running? Or am I being paranoid? No visible signs of blood in the nostrils, no coughing.

Mine bled out a nostril several hours after we ran. I'm not a vet I can't say yours is bleeding but personally I would not rule it out.
