I posted a few weeks ago about a mare that was border line dangerous spooky and would have to do ground work for an hour n half before I could get her mind within 10 feet of were her actual body was and not the ghosts. Well this last week I rode 30 miles in 2 days averaging 7 min/mile then a mix of arena work and trail in 2 hour segments the other five days... Boom she is super broke (Background ) I have always started my own horses and when I purchased this mare she had her first 30 days with a well known popular trainer that is also known for pushing horses . This mare has an awsome work ethic and so badly wants to please so much so she becomes fractious and looses all confidence then spooks up when she feels she is not making you happy.. I was so excited to have my first horse with a professional 30 days... Now I'm just more confident I like I start my own.

im pretty excited about her. the LONG trail rides I did with my friend who is an endurance rider who does 50-100 mile races was taking vitals on her new Arabian after doing a 15 mile stent to gage what distance she was going to enter this weekend was at a 40 beat min 10 min resting heart rate and my mare was at 42 she called my mare a freak heavy muscled quarter horses weren't suppose to keep pace with Arabians

now that I have her mind back in the next few months I have to figure out the most strategic way of patterning her without loosing her again.
