Toe of coffin bone remodeling...

My mare had some bad feet before I got her. I have had her since 2013 and her feet are fantastic now. But she is a 1 on the lameness scale on the right front so I had it xrayed to see what was up. She doesn't have a headbob and never feels lame at all. I can only notice it when hand trotting her on gravel...just slightly off. Anyways....her xrays looked great other than a tiny little bit of bone remodeling on the toe of her coffin bone. What are some options to make her more comfortable and to keep this from getting worse? He feet our now 100% balanced and look great so that of course will help. But do I put pads on to help with concussion
(she is thin soled as well
)? What else can I do?

I would start with a RIM PAD. Just the outer part and leave the sole bare. That will help with concussion. You can put dura sole or Rickens on the sole of the foot to help with the thin soles.

you might need to discuss with your DVM about Tildren or Osphos to clean up the bone
