Clearance for carport

i have a 3 horse again with a 4 ft shortwall. We're planning on putting up a carport to protect it from the elements, but I'd ideally like to be able to drive through it and not have to back it in. How much clearance do I need? I don't even know what the turning radius is of my truck and trailer. How do I figure this out?

Figure out where you want your carport to be... put down some flags or reflectors that you stick into the ground or something like that. If you can drive around those, you're ok putting your new structure there.
You'll want to be away from the walls or sides enough to open doors and drop windows. Don't forget to take your truck mirrors into account as well.

Dont forget to take note of how much room you need for loading and unloading tack comfortably! I did not and put myself into a pickle.
ETA: I pretty much did it the way Nita said, except I back mine in because of our setup which isn't much of an issue for me.
