a friend of mine is looking to sell or trade her saddle. She was contacted by someone wanting to trade their Running P for her triple creek.
My question.... what is your opinion of these running p saddles? Are they made well? Do they fit your horse's well? Any input is much appreciated.
Happy Hump Day, ya'll

Keep the triple creek. Running P's are lower end leather and lower end materials. Triple creek is a better made saddle.
You can buy a Running P used from a retail store for around $800 if it's clean and non trophied. I've seen them as low as $395 in a retail setting.
I personally do not like the fit of the running P saddles. They sit awkwardly and they aren't very comfortable to ride either.

I would stay away from a Runnin P, especially an older one. I've heard the newer ones are better, but don't know for sure.
I custom ordered a roping saddle a few years back and had to sell it because it hurt my horse's back SO bad. I was heading out of this saddle, but I had to give him a few weeks off and have his back injected because of that saddle... needless to say I sold it as quick as possible for really cheap. Lost a lot of money on it.
