Subject: Growing a mane back

Location: NE TX		Long stretch but is there anything that "helps" grow a mane back? I'm on vacation and my friend just texted and said my mare rubbed a 2-3" section of her mane out...I wanna grow it back as soon as possible she is on platinum performance with her feed daily I have some MTG but hate the smell and how it leaves them so greasy.
