I want to accomplish things for Jesus, becoming a vessel, I have to leave my workaholic life behind. I enjoy all of life and it's activities, but my goal and list has already shrunk in recent years. Being gone a week at a time to barrel futurities is not an option now, with elderly parents to take care of its hard to be gone, I've quit taking outside horses, because of the obligation it takes, I have three horses , two of my own and one of dads, ride 2 roping horses for my husband daily, and still be a domestic goddess in my own home, time management can be overwhelming. I have to step back and take time for me, which is very hard, when lists in my head organizing days, weeks ahead of time.. I just turned 64 yrs young, and I'm still learning how to manage my time wisely. I have been down with the flu, 8 days, and let me tell you, when you feel your behind already, then you get sick, cold 17 degree weather comes, I have to let go and let God...
Take a deep breath, and let go of the control I thought I had. NOT EASY! But it's OK! Things still got done, life still went on..
So now I began asking Jesus more intentionally: What were His plans for me? Was there something I needed to start? Amend? Complete? How could I find the right balance in my life. I NEEDED, and WANTED answers! I wanted to hear a personal word from Jesus, Jesus often answers with principles in His Word, rather than specific instructions, giving us power of choice and discernment. Buy ONLY Jesus knows what the best ones are. I started exchanging my lists for a blank page. And trust is at the top of that page. NEW day, NEW YEAR, each starting with a NEW perspective...do the best I can with what He has given me, let go of things out of my control, take a deep breath, bringing in the presence of God, feel calm, joy, and peace EACH DAY!
Live life so those who know me but don't know God, will come to know God because they know me...NEW GOAL! For it is WITH God ALL things ARE possible. Have a VERY BLESSED TUESDAY ALL, 2, 2018!! God LOVES you!! And so do I!,
