What's your favorite therapy for your horses and why? I'm specifically talking about PHT, BOT, Hidez, even benefab, or something else. I would like to hear real life problems that were helped or fixed by your favorite product. Im not really looking for "my horse licked his lips" kind of reasons but more serious stuff.
I know this has been briefly talked about several times but I couldn't find very many actual convos about WHY we use the products that we use.

Magnacu.

Last winter we had an old gelding rip his chest open. Like 100+ stitches. He needed to be stalled and I was super nervous about this because he's 25 years old and arthritic, it was -30 celsius, and our barn isn't heated.

I put the magnacu under his winter blanket and left him. Because of the cold, we weren't able to do much for/with him for a couple of days. The vet didn't want us even hand walking him because of where the stitches were.

Three days later, I pulled him out of his stall. He walked out sounder than he went in. There was ZERO drainage from the wound (the vet was sure there would be a substantial amount) and there was noticeable healing already happening. I was floored.

I guarantee this was 100% the magnacu. This is the specific incident that sold me. I've seen noticeable differences in my good horse with the hock and stifle wraps too. Hes a horse that lets me know when he's due for injections and with the stifle and hock wraps I can feel a difference when it's coming up to injection time when he has had them on for an hour pre ride as opposed to not.

That's awesome! I use BOT boots and love them for hauling/stalling and I have a pair of the older style magnetic boots that I use for injuries a lot and they help a ton.
