Yes, I was reading that even shampoo and lotion has to be looked at carefully....

Yes!! That was ANOTHER shocker to me to find that out!

I had the "biopsy" done thursday. Endoscopy and Colonscopy, they are looking for Celiac with me too. It wasnt bad at all, when they give you the anesthetic, you literally just go to sleep, then wake up when its all over. Worst thing about it was placing the IV and a little sore throat afterwards. Best of luck!

I had a colonoscopy about 10 years ago. It was good for me to experience what I recommend to others. I didn't get sedation, and it was embarrassing because all these cute nursing students were observing. I could see the TV monitor as well. I thought I kept my composure reasonably well, and didn' t complain too much about the cramping when they filled my colon full of air. I tried to be a good sport about it and remarked that it was my pleasure to loan my colon out for the sake of medical education. I sat up when he was done and the student were walking out the door. Just then I farted so loud that it even startled me.

Sorry......didn't mean to digress. A little Monday levity.

Farts are cool...except girls don't fart. We emit puffs of glitter that sound like unicorn giggles and smell like rainbows.
