I feed Equine Matrix ECP. Helps with focus without making them a dead head. All organic and FDA approved.

Animal Element makes some great products. Raspberry leaves are great you can feed a handful and it will help calm your horse but word of caution it can take some run out. I prefer the In the zone paste I give it before a run and helps horses focus but not take the run away.

You can always request samples when you make an order from THE Equine Edge, they're free of charge. I always ask for extras, so i can give them out for my friends to try for their horses.

Cur Ost Adapt and Calm and when I know he is going to be really anxious (be around cows, hauling to a show) Equisure.
I do have a new horse that I had on Equisure to help prevent ulcers because he was a new horse and it definitely has helped with anxiousness with him.

I use this one.

Although my mom uses good ol' Mare Magic on her mare and it makes a world of difference.

I feed mare magic daily and about 2 hours before a race I give half a dose of divine equine paste. It has tryptophan and valerian

I love THE PRODUCTS! A few days ago we had horrible storms all day and night.I gave my beagle a half of a calming cooking and he went from shaking and pacing to sleeping peacefully on his bed:)))). Edited to add I love to use calming cookies on our pony but I also make sure the pony and donkey have their guts right so I'm using THE GASTROGUARD and forco to make sure all is well:)) I feel if the belly isn't working right they will be nervous no matter what you use.

I swear by In The Zone by Animal Element. I but it by the case!!! It takes no run out at all, just keeps their stomach settled so they can focus.

if kept in a cool dry place, they should still be good. THE has a really long shelf life. They are kind of a try and see, depending on the severity of the horse's issues. Some feed one or 2 the morning of and an hour before their barrel race etc, and some start a day or 2 in advance. I have a lot of samples if anyone wants to give the Calming Cookies or Calming Powder a try.
