Location: stray dump capital of the world | I remember him! He sure turned into a beautiful boy. I take in rescue everything...horses, goats, birds, dogs, cats...some live long lives while others are shorter. Every death breaks my heart, but there is peace in knowing each animal that passes through my life crosses the bridge knowing love and compassion. Follower had that in you and helping him move across the bridge was the last act of compassion. I will send prayers your way. So sorry for your loss. |

Location: So. Cali. | Thank you all for the kind words of comfort. I was reading them, but wasnt ready to comment again and reopen the door. I know he is in a much better place now, and I know we loved him the best we could. It's such a shame someone wasted a life with so much potential. I turned my older gelding out last night and he went down to the other end of the arena and just stood there staring at Followers empty stall. Don't care what others say, animals know.
