Bear - 2017-05-22 4:19 PM Looks like either someone is asleep at the wheel, or doesn't care. Have any mods bothered to explain this? If so, where is it? If not, why not?

I've been waiting for a Mod to speak up about what is going on as well... So far the only action I've seen is the quick removal of the FT and Jenna thread LOL so I know they see us cause we see you!
Have yet to get an answer from a Mod tho on this subject.  Still waiting like: *Cricket* *Cricket*

We sometimes don't know what happens till after it happens and then we have to reverse engineer the problem to the source and try to eliminate the breach.

Many of these cyber attacks are just automated programs.   High traffic forums are targets because they have visibility and are usually easier for amateur hacks than say the Pentagon.  It's like wack a mole, trying to protect our forums from mischief.

I apologize for not spotting it and stopping it sooner but often the quickest fix is a complete shutdown.    The attack is simply a program to add thousands of pages to threads on our forum and others forums on the internet, and we can often find and fix in 24 hours or much less. The mischief systems often proliferate over weekends, when computer staffs, including ours, are at a minimum.

We (us folks) are working on it now.

FT and Jenna thread? Darn, missed that. Anyone wanna give a quick recap? I'm sure that was an interesting one to follow.

Its ok that you and Dave were late to the party, we forgave the two of you .. I love the Air shows, its the best feeling when those Jets fly over you.  We live in the flight paths of Lackland and Randolph air force base's and we get to see lots of the trainer jets fly over and when those Helicopters fly over in groups its like WOW the rumple shakes the whole house, just so cool..
