It's not my place to detail her personal problems... and yes, this is "a feel good thread".
I see no need for you to pi$$ all over it..

If you can find a place that will hire me while taking narcotics... I'm all in... I can catch ponies today and then I'm flat on my back in pain for 4 days. Without pain killers some days I can't get out of bed.... I've had 3 different cancers, triple bypass heart surgery, both knees operated on 5 different times and have recently been diagnosed with COPD do you even know what COPD is? yeah I can't breath when I have to exert myself.  The catching ponies thing is: ponies like me and come up to me, I don't have to chase them... I often wondered why I couldn't walk to the mail box and back... Now lets take into consideration that I am STILL going through cancer treatments, not to mention the torn rotater cuff I've not been able to have repaired because no doctor won't operate on my shoulder while I'm being treated for cancer... Need I go on?

SO again I ask you to find me a job that will hire me, heck even a place of employment that would even entertain an interveiw with me... I'll go and give it a try.

vjls, many of on here know that you have had it far from easy and have overcome much in your young life. Now is the time to be an inspiration, not a critic. I understand that you are trying to motivate but sometimes people need a shoulder to lean on for a short while, not a kick in the seat of the pants. It may come to a kick in the seat of the pants someday but Suzee ain't there yet.

Suzee, KEEP HIM. Everybody needs a reason to get up in the morning. If it wasn't for my ponies, some days I'd never make it outside. Because of them, I HAVE to go out , no matter how crappy it is outside....and I always feel better for it.

Keep the creative ideas coming for helping you both!

I am sorry for you in so many ways...sorry that you have been delt such a crappy hand in life, and sorry that you are so bitter and choose to lash out at others who are suffering and looking for help.

You, of all people, should know what it feels like. You do know what it feels like and yet you are completely unsympathetic and apparently lack the capacity to feel empathy. You are being downright mean.

Keep him! And if you need help with any future bills you just let us know. People forget that when you let people help you, you have actually helped them. Never begrudge someone's offers of help, for if you accept you have just made them happy and brightened their soul. This goes for anyone that needs help. I feel sure that you have helped many people suzy2qtee, let us return the help should you need it.

I would keep him and maybe consider leasing him if times get tough to cover the costs of feeding him.

If he were to need a vet, the leasee could help cover the costs too. It doesn't sound like you are feeling good enough to ride right now, so this would be a good way to keep him around and someone else enjoy him too. :

You know, I've been thinking about this a lot. If it gets to that point, seriously, let me know. I'll make something happen. Even if it's just taking him in myself or finding a BB to do so until you're ready for him again. Ease your mind. This is a small obstacle that we easily have the means to fix. No worries :

Keep Floyd....there is nothing wrong with me except tired most mornings, I am healthy and thankful but when I walk out the door to feed my ponies and my sweet horse looks at me and nickers, it sure puts a big smile on my face and I bet yours does the same thing. So many things in our days can sure make it hard to be happy about but even on my worst days that little nicker that is just for me makes my heart full.
